2136 French Horn Orsi Serenader
1535 French Horn Orsi
MADE BY ROMEO ORSI FOR CARL FISCHER.
1530 French Horn Orsi
Inscribed: DITTA PROF. ROMEO ORSI MILANO ITALIA BELOW THAT ARE TWO DANCING BEARS. excluvius: he compensating system double horn at the top of the list is widely distributed under other brand names, including DEG (Getzen), Boosey & Hawks, and I believe Carl Fischer. Others escape my recollection at the moment. This particular example appears to have had the first 3 inches or so of the lead pipe and angle brace lopped off. I have tried them on numerous occasions and every one I have played was garbage. it is widely distributed as a stencil instrument. However I have seen listings for a few horns using this layout manufactured in Germany. Have not been able to snag one yet, but I betting they play much better.
