RA Kaempf was established in New York in 1878. As RA Kaempf & Son between 1886 and 1911. RA died in 1904 and was succeeded by his son, Albert. Company sold to CE Ridgely in 1911, and Albert briefly worked for Keefer until his death in 1917.
