Giboreau family in Liege consisting of father, Louis Auguste (11/10/1820-9/17/1873) practicing from 1856-1873 was a maker of wind instruments located at rue de l$rsquo;Hotel de Ville 15 in Liege. On 7/17/1856, he was granted a patent (No. 3084) for trombone modifications. He was succeeded by his wife, Marie-Antoinette Elisa Forir who continued company as "widow Giboreau-Forir". The company then passed to his son Jean-Auguste-Ferdinand Giboreau (6/24/1848-9-9-1899) Liege. who was a musical instrument dealer and maker active at rue de Bex 4 in Liege. An advertisement in the official music directory of 1886 seems to indicate that they sold Besson and Mahillon instruments.
