Franz Otto Hofmann (born 1863 died 1956) came from Sachsen but worked in Bern.
His sons took over and the firm was called simply Hofmann Sohne (Hofmann Sons) they were Franz Otto Robert Hofmann (1888 - 1980) and Albin Paul Hofmann (1889 - 1984).
