4110 Cornet King Super 20 Master 505319 1970
Engraved: KING SUPER 20 MASTER, KING MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS USA OLDLOU: Are we to assume that King went back to a non micrometer adjustable tuning slide and added a first valve trigger on this model after my Super 20 Master Model # 3869XX was built, and photos of which I have sent to you? The subject pictured cornet "looks" to be a much older instrument than mine, even though the serial number says otherwise. Pryorphone: If it is true, it certainly would not be the first time that a manufacturer built and sold older and newer models side-by-side (sometimes even on the same line!)
