11008 Trumpet Harwood Professional 1619
10902 Trumpet Herdim Professional
Patent was assigned to John Maher first in the US and then in Britain. It was apparently for the bell design. It dates the horn to no older than 1954. That patent is interesting. It almost looks like it was hand marked on the instrument. The Herdim name seems to be associated with a string company in Germany. I assume he was a dealer. And, the design seems familiar but what about that patent?
