Cavalier Serial Number

From what he is able to research, it appears that there are separate serial sequences for Conn Brass, Conn Woodwinds, Pan American Bras, Pan American Woodwinds, Pan American Trombones, and Cavalier and Cavalier trombones.

I am really struggling with updating a serial system for Cavalier. There is a lot of crosstalk relative to design and stencil trademarks. Based on volumes the best I can provide is 95% confidence of +/- 5% Interval.



Brass Excluding Trombones: I feel pretty good about the start numbers for 1931, 1934 and 1937. They are likely really close. The others are best guesses for now.

I’ll send trombones in a few days. I need to review further because there is an indication the Cavalier line serials may have merged with Pan American.
